Day 5: Your favorite single.
Skipped yesterday, so there are two for today.
It’s extremely difficult to choose only one single. Let it be The Final. I love the song, it’s so intense. And live versions from this single are amazing as well. The IIId Empire is one of my favourite songs, Increase Blue and Red…[em] are also very good. Unfortunately, I don’t have the CD, so I’ll put here a pic from the PV.
Toshiya is drop dead gorgeous in the PV.
I also love live performances of The Final to no end. All of them.

Day 4: Do you prefer Missa or Six Ugly + favorite song.
I like both, but still prefer Missa. I love old Dir en grey a bit too much XD Btw, received this CD yesterday.
Speaking about the song, I’m torn between Aoi Tsuki and Garden.

Day 1: When and how did you discover Dir en grey?
In the beginning of 2008, I guess…
Realized that i still want to buy a guitar. I’ve almost forgotten how to play, however.
20 pages, 20 motherfucking pages of the movie script I’ve been writing for several nights in a row is fucking GONE. Thanks to MS Word. The deadline is Sunday. Thus…fuck deadlines, I’m going to the party.

last night I had a dream about some Alice Nine show. It was extremely boring, they were standing on the stage, not even moving from their places, and playing something dull. After the show i found Uruha’s pick on the floor. Seems that my brains decided it’s the worst thing that can happen to me. I was disappointed and went to a group of some Gazette fangirls to exchange the pick for Tora’s or something like that. But then someone poured water from the stage and all my clothes got wet. Some staff guy brought me clothes to change into and said “I took them from Kyo, you wear same size”. So I put on his white jeans and the top of his black adidas tracksuit. Then we went to have a drink with that staff guy, and Kyo was there too. He gave me a weird look and I felt uncomfortable. At first he kept silent, but then he started telling us some funny stories in japanese, though inserting russian curse words as often as possible. I thought he was a poor narrator. Then all of us went to eat cookies.

I love interviews with bands that are not very popular. The younger-the better. These guys are much more sincere, they are not used to talk to journalists. The interview is fun for them and are really interested in giving good answers.
Now I’m working on the interview with some Finnish metal band. The vocalist’s answers on first two questions are almost a page long. These two questions were just introductory “How are you?” and “Do you like the venue?”. He told A LOT, switching from topic to topic, and sometimes I even doubted whether musicians are supposed to reveal such things. I’m sure he enjoyed the interview. He laughed, told lots of funny stories, he sounded more than interested.
“Rockstars” usually sound bored or annoyed, they already have a prepared speech and know well how to avoid answering unwanted questions. No emotions, just phrases learned by heart long time ago. The worst is when they have that attitude “I’m a god and all of you are dirt under my feet”. Thankfully, I haven’t encountered people of such type yet, but my friend recently did, and it was a horrible experience for her. She had to collect all her willpower to keep looking interested and to suppress the urge to punch that guy in his face.
Fuck my vacations, I’ve just agreed to translate another movie.This time I’ll try to start work earlier than a couple of days before the deadline :)
Btw yesterday i translated the interview with some Finnish metal band and the guy spoke about Russian night trains and the adventures of their band on the night train from Moscow to Spb. OH YES I can understand him. Night train is such an adventurous thing XDDD I like trains XD
Yesterday we had a crazy party at the local bar. Some random guy hurt his hand accidentally, then hugged me. Only when I came home in the morning i noticed that my coat was covered in blood, fuck, I walked through the whole town looking like a psycho killer XD Actually, walking home at -20 in the middle of the night was also not a very good idea, too damn cold!
I’m not going to party that hard again in nearest future XDDD
